Supersnack (officially: Team Supersnack) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of philanthropy, especially in young adults, through a variety of events that don’t suck.

The whole thing started in 2005 when a group of yahoos put together an AIDS Walk NY team, for the fun and good of it. Five years later, we’ve assembled a membership of +75 people, and have raised well over $100,000 for various AIDS charities from NYC to DC. Turns out all we had to do was ask for it. And put on various concerts, variety shows, nights out, bake sales, what have you.

2010 sees Team Supersnack taking on AIDS Walk Washington for the second straight year. Last year, we were ranked second in donations, behind only Whitman-Walker Clinic, the nice folks that put on the walk. Can we take the #1 spot? Only piles of AIDS charity-bound money can tell…
